I always thought that "Flesh" color should be the color of raw meat. That's what we all look like inside, isn't it?

Did you know that Michael Jackson is living proof that any poor little black boy can grow up to be a rich white woman?
Back to crayons: The least used crayon in my box of 64 was always the white one.
Maybe the new color names are better than the ones they used 35 years ago (blue-green and green-blue were really creative names).
When I was a kid, I worked for a while at a tupperware warehouse. Instead of calling their colors names like orange, yellow, green, and brown, they used names like tangerine, daffodil, burnt orange, coffee, and apple green.
I've always wondered what third grader really needs 64 colors?

I thought I was the coolest person in the world for having the 106 crayon set that wouldn't fit anywhere in my schoolbag.

Partly in response to the civil rights movement, Crayola decides to change the name of the “flesh” crayon to “peach.” Renaming this crayon was a way of recognizing that skin comes in a variety of shades.
