Stupid question, I know. Besides just hitting enter after each line, I mean. I pasted something in here and it's doing it automatically now and I don't know how to make it work for other text. Any advice?

Go to Format, Paragraph. You should be able to select the line spacing for the paragraph there.

But, then again, I use Word, not Wordpad. [Dont Know]

All that adjusts is indentation and alignment... I wish I had word on this machine. I reformatted a while ago, and then never found the Office Cd.

I can't find that option in WordPad. [Dont Know] Is Word not an option? It's easy to do in Word.

My friend says you can't.... I wonder why it does it with that segment I copied and pasted?

If you have that example, try the format painter.

Or copy and paste it into a new document.

Try copying and pasting that segment in again, then just type right ontop of it and WordPad may "remember" the formatting. A kind of stop-gap solution but if you're desperate...

Is it actually double-spacing it, or putting two hard returns between each line?

I would just write it all out, then when you get on someone's computer that has Word put it into double space format and save it. If you need it double-spaced, you're going to have to do that eventually anyway. [Smile]

I'm also pretty positive you can't... though you could always just download a free word processor and use that.

Found out how. You highlight everythin and hit ctrl-2.

Thanks for the help, though.

Huh. That works in Word as well, but I'm on a Mac. I thought it was a Mac thing.

Neat. Hope I never have to use that, though.
