Do you get your own theme music like most Presidents? Honk To The Chief or something like that.

Any patronage jobs available to your loyal following? You know, Traffic Safety Ambassador to Jamaica or some such position.

Will we get to see the Traffic Safety Presidential Security Detail at the wedding?

Will they interfer with the honeymoon?

I'd love to come to the innaugoration celebration, but that is one party you should never crash.

Does the President of ATSIP get to chair the meetings? If so you get to make puns in the normal business of running a meeting. Even if no one else laughs you will be cracking up as you say, "Steve will yield the floor to John." or "We are going to have to merge these topics."

The annual meeting is over. Whew... It's a busy time.

I'm really excited to head this organization. It's a group of peers/colleagues and friends. They are all very dedicated to improving the information upon which safety decisions are made in the realm of highways and traffic in the US. We are growing and have added international members over the years as well.

We recently voted to become a professional association, with dues and even (eventually) certification. There's an enormous amout of work to be done.

And yes, dkw IS first lady. At least as far as I'm concerned.
