I just had a chocolate craving attack. Some of you may be familiar with this feeling. Anyway, no chocolate in house. So, I beg my husband to go to DQ for me (our DQ has a 24-hr. drive-thru) by making puppy face. Mr. Opera says sorry, he's going to bed. So, I'm getting ready to put my shoes on and run into town myself when Mr. Opera hands me a Hershey's with almonds!!! Apparantly he stashes them away so as to avoid running into town when I need chocolate!

You know what I discovered at Dairy Queen? The ultimate chocolate blizzard. Chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate chunks and chocolate brownies all mushed together. Oh My God. It's almost as good and Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

When I was pregnant, my husband would wake up in the middle of the night when I had a foot cramp, and rub my foot. That is love.

It's amazing how random acts of kindness can help a marriage.

Space Opera, It is great that you love your husband and that he is considerate and thoughtful towards you. You might wanna check your thread title and consider if it could be a blow to his male ego.

Tom leapt up last night when I wanted some ice cream and we didn't have any. I looked out at the weather -- the sky was turning black and a bad storm was eminent -- and told him it was okay, I didn't REALLY need ice cream, but he went out anyways. What a great husband!

Man, I'm always hungry and nobody ever gets *me* anything.

Clearly I've got to fake a pregnancy...

Oh yes, it is the little things. The other night, I was talking to Dan on his way home from work, and told him I hadn't had enough dinner, and was still hungry. When he got home, he had sushi for me! What a sweetheart.

I'm usually not much of a chocolate person, I like a little bit, but that's all... but after I saw the movie Chocolat, I came home with my friend (we went to see it together), and we raided our cabinets, and ate all the chocolate we could find.

Funny, I thought "little thing" and "perfect husband" were mutually exclusive terms.

Is it ethical to bump a thread simply for its contribution to an adjacent thread post?

I need to go back to Chicago one of these days....

BJF, I lived there for about 5 years and I miss Portillo's so much. Death By Chocolate is another good dessert!

I'm not falling for it again, CyberDan.

You've cried wolf one too many times.
