Does the new law include a minimum age below which a minor can't use tobacco? Under the new law, could a parent give, say , chewing tobacco to their 3 year old?
I'm just wondering if there are any age restrictions in the new law. *shakes head*

As of Thursday, young children in cars will have to ride in booster seats a little longer, until they turn 6.
But minors will be allowed to smoke, as long as they are at home and a parent or guardian who got the tobacco for them is there when they light up.
That's the extent of the coverage. Amazing, considering how much advocacy there is on both sides of the tobacco issue.

Although, I think this isn't really any different than any other state, it's just that they codified it. I remember joking to my parents/grandparents that it was technically legal to smoke/drink in my home. This was MA.

Wonderful... smoke marijuana and go to jail, but feel free to give the most addictive substance known to man to your children.
