That's right!

Silliness has many notable merits for human beings:

1. Stress reduction which leads to better health which leads to happier and more productive lives.
2. Activation of neurons previously dying of stultification which in turn energizes tired, overused and grumpy neurons to a more realistic perception of life.
3. Causes laughter which clears out the lungs and exercises the heart.
4. Requires the use of imagination in a free-floating form.
5. Breaks down needless barriers to interpersonal understanding.

Add your own . . .

"Silliness is the body in its natural state. Serious is something you have to do until you can be silly again."

Silly is what Larry the Cucumber is and what Archibald the Asperagus wishes Larry isn't.

[Edit to add: "So stop being so silly!"]

Silliness destroy's more evil every day than nobility does in a weekend. Yes, even during a really long weekend, at the beach when its raining, with your mother-in-law.
