I'm sitting here, patiently waiting for monsoon season to start. It keeps acting like it's going to, but then backing off. Ergh! Please, I need some relief from this 104 degree heat! When shall I have a spatter of wetness to cool off the land?? I'm dying!

It usually gets to Tucson earlier than Phoenix, as it works its way north. Last year it started really late (obviously because we needed it so bad with the Aspen fire) but the average start is July 3rd in Tucson. It's getting really cloudy right now, though.

We've been getting a lot of clouds in Vegas, too. Monsoon can't be too far away.

Unless it skips us this year, like it did a couple of years ago. [Frown]
