Shouldn't this be in teh non-story thread? Not that I'm not flattered-- I just don't get WHY. That was six months ago.
(and I do NOT look like Liv Tyler-- I'm just wearing a dress very similar to one she wore. I look nothing like her.)

Yeah, more than once. But I STILL don't get the "Liv Tyler" thing. Calling me "Livvy" (which is cool and I like it and all) Does not make my hair blacker, my lips puffier or my skin paler. Yea, it doth not give me breasts.
Jamie is nuts. But I love all you guys, and this DOES make me feel nice. So, thank you all.
(You're big fat liars and I love you very much )

Don't think of that as a bad thing, guys. She looks better than Tyler, in my opinion, and could carry dressing like that on her own without being compared to daughters of rock stars.

Thanks, Justa. I'm happy being me. It is vaguely disturbing when someone suggests that to look like someone famous would somehow make you better than you are to begin with. I know my friends care about me, as I do them, and hope it isn't based on who or what I look like.
I think I just have one of those "Haven't I seen you somewhere before?" faces. At different times (depending on my haircut, probably) I've had friends and co-workers INSIST I looked like Sandra Bullock, that actress from China Beach, and um, that other one who was in Northern Exposure. All of whom tend to play the 'likeable girl you know' type of parts.
I don't do that to people I know. I could try, I guess, but they would all be as vaguely silly as this Live Tyler nonsense. Hmmm....
Jenny G looks like Anthony Michael Hall's girlfriend in The Dead Zone (petite, huge *beautiful * eyes and a smile that makes you want to smile, too). CT looks like... Kim Bassinger. For mack, I'm drawing a blank. So, I'll just get silly.
