I'm flying up to Minnesota tomorrow morning and can/am supposed to check-in online sometime between now and then. The problem is that I've been trying for the past half hour.
I actually tried switching the order of my first and last names around in case that had accidentally been done while registering for the flight. And I've tried to use each of the three options: the confirmation code, the flight number, and the dividend miles. All nothing. I'm either told that my name or one of the access codes is invalid. They're not! I check on the airport's website and it says the flight number is the same, etc. but the buggered airline's site doesn't seem to think it exists.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it keeps putting in today's date for my departure time even though I've made sure to check the circle marked "Tomorrow" every single time!
Any ideas or suggestions beyond waking up a bit earlier tomorrow to see if it works then? Probably not but in that case I'm just venting and thanks for listening. Posts: 1548 | Registered: Aug 2002

Aye, if you can't get the online checkin to work, call. I've never used US Air's onlien checkin so i can't help you there. Satyagraha

I have used it, and if you call them, give them your flight info, they can verify things for you and give you information on what to do for your flight.

Most of the kiosks have attendants nearby, too, who are very helpful. I use e-tickets exclusively now.

I just tried once more but it's still not working so I think I'll just call.
Oh, and aside from the tomorrow's-date-showing-up-as-today's thing, I think I figured out the problem with the online check-in:
A person is far more likely to understand the concept of US Airways being partnered with United Airlines and, thus, also the concept that you are still flying US Airways - just on a plane that is "operated by United". Posts: 1548 | Registered: Aug 2002
