Far too long have I seen Hobbes smiling at the end of each post.
This ends here.
I've noticed that usually when I tell jokes, the result is not as I hoped - instead of getting laughs I get items thrown at me.
So here I will tell a couple of jokes, and if my plan works out, they will be so bad that Hobbes just won't be able to end the post with that smiling yellow face.
Well here we go:
Why did the chicken cross the road? It was too far to fly!
How did the employees of the Nike factory get rid of the rodent that entered? They shooed it away!
When you go out, where do keep your dog? In a Barking lot.
What's the difference between a radio and a fish? You can tune a radio, but you can't tune-a-fish!
Why did the germ cross the microscope? To get to the other slide!
Yea Hobbes, I'd like to see you smile now!

kaioshin, many have tried this. I'd say just back off, it's NEVER going to happen... And I like it this way ! I mean, what would a post ended in:

Why do you have 00 at the end of your name, kaioshin? It lowers my self esteem every time I see it.

Ah, kaioshin-sama, I love the jokes! Please post more.
I doubt your crusade to get Hobbes to quit posting smilies will work. Hobbes is the original smilie promoter. The fact that he keeps it down to 8 per post is only due to the forum software. He's the one that broke the forum by posting several thousand smilies in a single post once long ago, causing the fix to be put in instituting the limit.
I used to be strictly a no-smilie person but Hobbes in his proselytizing eventually wore me down and won me over. I'm now nearly as addicted to the things as he is. Beware lest the same happen to you.
Great jokes, though. Keep em coming.

I like Hobbes' too. Even when it is made slightly surreal by the contents of the post, I still like it.
