Yeap. Ten episodes of Gilmore Girls in two days. One Trainspotting. One Formula 1 boring-to-death race. (not a Schumacher fan) Nothing else. Boooring...
Next week, this has to change ! I think I'll watch different GG episodes. And instead of Trainspotting, maybe Usual Suspects or something. Yeap, definitely a change...

Yeah, I concede totally. I talked to the D-bot as seen on the summer term thread. It was extremely entertaining and fun compared to watching tv, for real!

hnn Yours was better than mine. I had to leave work early yesterday because I had trouble breathing and today I could have either watched Kill Bill 1 and 2 with really cool people or had a pot luck with the neat people in my kung fu class. I beat my own weekend ! One day of uselessness AND it cost me ~100 euros ! See, I went to Paris to get my viza for Canada, only to find out that I forgot one of the parpers. So I'm back in Lyon, thinking about how I can beat the uselessness of this day... I know ! If I need something else tomorrow, when I'm going back to Paris, and I come one more time to Lyon, now THAT would be an accomplishement ! at me...

Nobody's weekend was more boring than mine.
I got up Saturday and let my husband sleep in because he had to work so late the night before. As soon as he got up he went to his grandmother's house to work on his speaker pods, leaving me alone with the kids, just like every other day. He got done and wanted to take us out to eat...at six thirty. Seeing as how my kids were tired and their bedtime is seven o'clock, I didn't think that would be a great idea.
We went to bed.
Sunday, Jes said we could go to the mall after church so that I could be out of the house for a while. When church was over, we drove all the way out to the nice, big mall, in our car with no AC. When we got there, the kids were tired and hungry so we went straight to the food court. Jes got all annoyed because the ATM charged him two bucks to make a withdrawal (DUH) and said, "I don't want to be here anymore. I don't like this atmosphere." I said, "Do you want to find a sit-down place to eat?" He said, "No, I just want to go home."
We had been there five minutes, people. The kids were thirsty after a very long, hot car ride.
I said, in a very sarcastic and angry voice, "Fine! Let's just go home then!"
So we did. We didn't even stop to get a drink to share with the kids before spending another 45 minutes in the car.
When we got home, I got to make everyone lunch, just like every other day. Jes took a nap after lunch. So my Sunday was pretty much like Saturday, and every other day of my week. I don't leave the house. In short, I didn't have a weekend.
People who work, you're lucky. You could be stuck inside the same four walls 24-7, literally, with no human contact except that from people three and under.

That does sound fairly miserable PSI. From other posts you've made, Jess seems like a fairly good guy--have you tried talking to him about the frustration you're feeling about all of this?

- one piece internship boss, who, although kind of a cool guy, can get pretty boring sometimes... - my co-intern, who I have seen all the year since we worked together at all of the school-projects; good company, but I think we kinda got bored of each other... - a friend of mine who's almost as bored as me, with whom I play basketball. The thing is, I managed to hurt my left knee and I'm not able to play basketball since Tuesday...
Other than rare Internet contacts, that's all. Oh, I forgot to mention my computer. He's always here for me, demands very little from me, plays me very nice music and shows me beautiful films. Doesn't talk though...

I figured so, PSI, given that, but then the whole mall fiasco made me think maybe not. Any chance you could arrange to leave the kids with the grandparents or something this coming weekend, and just have a weekend to yourselves? Sounds like both of you are feeling pretty stressed out (as I imagine that the $2 ATM fee was really more the straw that broke the camel's back that the actual starting point of his frustration), and could probably use some bonding time together.

Yes, this is what Jesse said! I'm feeling better about it now. He just called and suggested I get a babysitter for tomorrow night so we could go out.
He really is a good guy, but he works just as hard as, if not harder than, me. I understand that his need to be home doing nothing is just as strong as my need to be out doing something.

Glad he suggested it. Have fun luxuriating in it just being the two of you, whatever you do. He's always sounded like a pretty great guy, from what you've said of him.
