This is what I used to paint that room. The colors they have now aren't quite the same but close. Also after trying to follow their technique directions for two people with Steve and realizing that they were basically humanly impossible (you end up with stripes regardless of what they say) I modified the technique with the brush to just as much of a wall as I could do at one time. I'd roll the glaze on, pounce with the horsehair brush and repeat. I also did it in more random patterns in order to avoid the whole line problem.

Hey AJ -- I'm coming back to Chicago in October for training for work. Any chance I could stop by your place and visit for a bit while I'm there? I'm sure I will have my evenings free (I'll be staying way downtown on the waterfront)

Oh, about the painting stuff. I was extremely flattered that Punwit liked my paint job in our library-to-be (though it is technically a bedroom) especially because he's a professional painter.

Thanks Farmgirl. I actually did a similar treatment to one wall in our den, AJ. Yours looks much better and the lapping problem you mentioned was a drag. I was impressed because you managed to do the treatment and I could see no lap marks. Excellent work.
