Please forgive my continuing to use Hatrack as a travel-planning tool. I've lived in England for the last 3 years but haven't been able to get the time to visit the continent during my stay. As we prepare to move back to the US my wife and I are desparately trying to visit a few places so as not to waste the opportunity of having been "so close"

I'm going to be vacationing in Prague in the second half of September, but have about 3 days extra. One of my ideas is to visit Poland during those days, but because time is going to be tight I want to make sure that I "focus".

Can anyone help me with my focus?

I would wait until Kama starts posting again, because she actually lives there normally! Right now she is gallivanting about Chicago somewhere.

Thanks for that AJ. I'll bump it in a week or so.

I won't have much time to answer thoroughly until I actually get home, so it'd be cool if you bumped this at the beginning of September, but you have to see Krakow (the old capital) and Zakopane (the mountains), both of which are not that far from the Czech border. Another place in close vicinity of Krakow is Wieliczka, with a famous (and beautiful) salt mine.
