I'm trying to find a game I used to have on my computer a few months back, but I can't remember the name. The game looks cartoonish/anime-ish, and involves players in goofy-looking vehicles trying to shoot eachother with cannons? I know the description is sparse, but does anyone know what I'm talking about? It's also online and free...

Um, that description covers several online free games. Tried google?

Edit, sorry. Didn't think I hit submit.

From your description, I searched for: [game vehicle shooter anime online] and still got over 2500 hits. Good luck sorting it down based on any other keywords you might recall.

Heh...yeah, my description sucks. If only I could transmit mental pictures! The big thing was that you didn't move a lot, and it was 2d, and you had to adjust the cannon angles and how much power the shot had to hit anything. It was a lot like a game that I think is called 'Worms'?

I know, not a big help, am I?

Now it's sounding like Worms or maybe Tank Wars. Scorched Earth? Again, there are many like that out there, but I can't think of any right off that had "cartoonish/anime" vehicles.

Tanks Wars is a lot of fun, though. Some VERY creative weapons in there. I still love to bury the other guy in dirt and left him blow himself up. . . .

Did the online community really suck?

If so, it sounds like Gunbound.
