OMG, I just slept for 5 hours and totally missed out on Christy's hair. And I haven't written my report for tomorrow, the refrigerator is bare, and I haven't showered.
Good Grief.
(After getting back last night from a long trip, I -- out of some prior masochistic glee -- realized I'd scheduled a dental appointment for 8:45 this morning. Half my face was numb all day, and as soon as I got home, I fell over.)
I think something ripped inside my head and I'm going to become a wino. Probably molest sheep, too.

I'm the one who got a "sorry I asked" from Elizabeth over in the Burning Man thread. She's probably gonna have nightmares and never dare to ask me a question again...

I'm so glad it's not just me. My brain is degenerating lately, to the point that I totally forget to do school assignments and attend mandatory lectures. I also lose a major household item every 3 days. I lost a bottle of febreeze that I bought within ten minutes of bringing it home and only found it by accident 3 weeks later (under the kitchen sink, where I put it so I'd remember where to find it.) I got a brand-new comb in the mail from my grandmother and lost it within twenty minutes of using it. I still don't know where it is. I also lost my cat for 4 hours yesterday. And last week I entirely forgot to do an ad that was supposed to run in the newspaper until a half hour before it was due.
Plus I'm real mean.

Wow, y'all have a very different idea of what a degenerate is. If procrastinating and not marketing makes you a degenerate, I am in big, big trouble!

Whatever's in the water, I'm drinking it too. I got home from work today and sat down to read a little before dinner, and woke up 2.5 hours later, minutes before I was supposed to pick up my friend Nate for a trip to Psycho Suzie's. I made it, but just.
Anyway, Sara, I'm sure Christy's forgiven you... and we all need naps now and then.

I lay in bed right before I had to leave for a psychology experiment to get warm. I look at my watch, I have to leave in 3 minutes, I decide to stay in bed 2 minutes longer. I woke up half an hour later. That makes the 3rd experiment I've missed out of 5.

Reading this thread is like looking through a family album and discovering all your crazy cousins isn't it? I mean it's a bit disturbing and yet also very comforting to know you aren't alone.
These past few months, I've "overlooked" many a thing while searching for it. Only to discover moments later it was by my foot or near my hand all along. I swear gremlins are in my house, and they are turning up the mojo.
I've found my inner crazy, and I ain't letting her out.
