is that you'll never have an opportunity to say "I told you so." And I love telling people I told them so! [Frown]

I can imagine a bunch of "Holy" people floating up to Heaven in the end, smirking, looking down and shouting "Told you so!" then immediately dropping to the Earth for their arrogance. [Smile]

But you might have the opportunity to say, "Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!"

Not to be picky but the definition of atheist pertains to the belief in a deity. It says nothing about an afterlife. I could suggest that there is an afterlife but under no omnipotent guidance. See, there is hope for those atheists that wish to chide true believers.

And come to think of it there's another couple of possibilities. For example, we might find out that the Sumerians were right all along, and I can while away my time in the Underworld laughing at the (far more numerous) modern religions. Then there's my fallback position : Assuming there is a Creator, it plainly isn't benevolent; an afterlife could easily have plenty of opportunities for pointing that out to the Christians.

The real trouble with atheism is that they have no one to talk to during sex.

A redneck comedian makes a similar joke - why you can't have sex with an atheist...what do they scream? "Oh, Darwin..."
