I have a few albums on my hard drive. I want to start making different sound themes. There is a 12 second theme to Red Dwarf I want to insert when I shut off my computer.
The theme is a mpg, and only .wav files can be inserted into the sound themes.
Does anyone know how I can convert it to a .wav sound? I want to also be able to edit sounds in the windows XP default "sound recorder." The sound recorders only manipulates .wav sounds.
Thank you all
OH...does anyone have any good windows themes, or do you think it is too immature?

I use Blaze Media Converter, it converst mp3's to wavs and vice versa, plus you can do some video and image conversions. It's $40, but you'll make your money back from your many friends who want their MP3's burned to CD. Have fun!

Better then the ugly girls wanting to step on you. I remember when I was still single, one of my friends picked me up in a brand new convertable mustang. He rented it to pick up "chicks."
It was probably the most humiliating thing I have ever done. He was blasting his techno and we drove from movie theater to college hang outs. It was truly sad. In my defense I was bored.
We pick up two really dumb girls who were very unatractive to us. They dissed us. Ouch.

Hey, I did it! It exported as a .wav file. Do you know how I can trim it? I have opened the soundbit and higlighted it, but there is no trim option I see. I see a copy and cut button, but they don't seem to do anything..hmm...

There are all kinds of ways to edit .wav files. If you want to do a lot of it, you may want to purchase or download a .wav editor.
