I wasn't watching that closely, so this is for everyone else to inform people.

One thing I did see, which I think was predicted, was that a higher percentage of Democrats voted Bush than Republicans Kerry. Which made up for the independent vote leaning towards Kerry.

What else did you notice?

Some more detailed breakdown (99% reporting at this point):

Male: 46% (Is this a first, that the women voters out numbered the men?)
Bush: 54%
Kerry: 45%

Female: 54%
Kerry: 52%
Bush: 47%

(Seems like normally women vote higher percent Democrat, I could be remembering wrong...)

Democrat: 37%
Kerry: 89%
Bush: 10%

Repbulican: 37%
Bush: 93%
Kerry: 7%

Indpendent: 26%
Kerry: 50%
Bush: 47%

No one's surprised by that. A lot of "Democrats" like Zell Miller and our own OSC only call themselves "Democrats" out of some sense of tradition.
