(copy whole link, this url ubb code is screwed up)
It's a draft, about a year old, it took me a while to find an ftp server to host it. I was originally going to make it better but lost the time. Maybe I will now, who knows. Anyway, enjoy

this has nothing to do with Enders Game but...
In college I played on a roller Hockey team and we named ourselves the Dharma Bums. One of the guys on the team was reading Kerouac's book and we thought it was a great name. I still have the jersey, Bright Orange with a big Blue Buddha on the front. Just first time I've heard any reference to the book since then.
Ok, sorry for derailing there. Back to Ender Game thoughts.

Very cool, Dharma Bum. I can just picture the generic voiceover person reading that very dramatically.

Thanks, I tried to make it so that you could narate those words with footage from the film. Too early to do that though neh?

That is awesome I was expecting a badly cut together thing using stolen shots of Anakin Skywalker as Ender or some such.
But that teaser gave me the shivers I love the use of Halo music. Nice job man, they should use it as the actual teaser trailer.

ok, figured it out. That was pretty cool. Just wish it was the real thing. Wouldn't that be nice... A release date and all that close enough that we'd be seeing teasers.

Heh... imagine if I was from Warner Bros. and this really was the teaser? That'd be pretty sweet actually, but they haven't even started filming yet

yea, I know. I've been waiting paitently for, well when did fresco pictures website go up? well, anyways, since then. I remember being excited about the website and thinking that would mean the film couldn't be that far off.
But I'll wait as long as it takes. I know Mr. Card won't be satisfied until it gets done right and that is the only way that I want it to be made.
I might avoid the repetitive "In the future," maybe capitalize "Earth" . . . and I would definitely make it "lies (please, please, please, NOT lays!) in the hands of a child."

Hm, you could add OSC's Dragon Army and Phoenix army symbols n'stuff... Like what he uses in his Cafe Shop thing, but man... That's cool as it is...

Thanks for the advice, I made this a year and a half ago, so there were no images that I found that were avaliable. As for the spelling mistake, yes I know, and I can't fix it as I didn't save it, to fix it I'd have to make it all over again, but I plan on doing it anyway since you all liked it

Copy the whole link into the address bar, then try it. If that doesn't work, put in the address to the video player.

Halo isn't anything near the calibre of Ender's Game. Even including the extra stuff at Ilovebees.com it might come close, but it is not Ender's Game. I recognise foley effects when they are used over and over again. The Halo intro is used far too often with other projects, when there is simply a large amount of things you could use that would give the same feeling, and that isn't as overused.

I'm sorry that you feel it's over used, when I made this I never saw someone use the Halo song for anything, probably because the only way you could've had it then was to record it yourself!

Awesome work with the teaser. I could definitely see a voice-over and very brief shots of a bugger invasion between the "has been attacked twice" and "lives in constant fear" bits. This just makes me look forward to the movie more.

This is great! The words are more effective with no voiceover. Voiceover would be bad.
My only problem is the last "Ender's Game" frame. It's too bright and bold in contrast with the rest, and with the story in general. Maybe a more subtle font? In a real teaser, they'd probably put some really quick action shots in at that point, which would be effective. But that isn't quite available to you, hehe...

Heh... I wish it could be, I was thinking of finding a flash artist, that's the only way it'd be possible
