I didn't get any where near finishing my 50,000 words - but I did make progress on the novel. In the process I found and fixed some glaring plot holes, developed some characters much more thoroughly and had some fun.

So, while I didn't make the 50,000 goal - I consider NaNo a good experience for me this year.

I hate the word "blog," especially when used as a verb.

I didn't participate this year... but I think I will next year. We'll see.

Thanks for the information. I'll have to blog that.

I got about 6,800 words. Not stellar by any means. But that's 5,500 more than I got the two previous years combined, and it also got me writing again, so I am happy. I think I may try to finish it this month or next. It's a very silly story, but there's nothing wrong with that. [Big Grin]

I got to 129 words and dropped it. [Frown] I just couldn't see myself going on; 129 words was after a whole day. It's just too much with a baby who needs to be held, played with, and fed all the time. I didn't even bother to enter my word count, I knew I wasn't going to go on. I'll try again next year.
