I have gotten into craps lately. I am not a fan of gambling, but man-oh-man is craps fun. I have been playing a craps game on my pc, I have read a few craps books, it is fun to get into the lingo and crowd excitement.
I could take 20 bucks and go to a movie and out to eat with a friend, or we could go and see how long we can make 10 bucks last at a casino and later have a dirty cheap buffet.
I went to Nevada and played some craps a few months ago and won $44. Whoo hoo!
I went again last weekend (I went with my dada and he financed it with a $10 bill--he was visiting from out of state). I got up to $88 and thought, "It is not my money, he is having fun, I will try one last roll." I waited until a seven was rolled twice in row. I placed it all in an inside bet. I figured I would wait for it to be hit twice and take it down.
It got hit once (another $20 some odd dollars), got hit again (another $20), the table was on fire, my dad was laughing and enjoying himself, and so I turned my back from the table to talk to him and they rolled a third time before I turned back to the table.....and BAM...SEVEN!
I lost it all except the 2 hits. I was still up about $30, but Megabucks didn't pan out and we walked out--minus 10 dollars.
I never win anything! At least we had a blast. Quite a fun night for only $10 of someone else’s money.
Congrats on the computer.
ADDENDUM: I know the house always wins, but it is fun...if you set a limit of how much you are going to spend.

Wow. One time I won a box of chocolate - never a computer!
I hope you like it. I've been very pleased with my Apple laptop. (and quite frankly, OS X is a lot more fun than Windows XP. The little logos bounce when you click on them.)

LOL, that would be rather funny. I'd love to see the expressions on people's faces when they saw an apple with XP 0n it.

When I was in elementary school I entered a raffle at my school's carnival. A few days later I was called down to the office. When I got there my prinical told me that I had won one of the prizes. It was a travel chess/checkers set. I was really happy because I had never won anything before. It does not compare to an ibook, but I was 8 and easy to please.

I reassure all apple defender, i don't want to put the devil Bill Gates' virus on my ibook. I'm not stupid. Moreover i work on computer sciences and Information system. Shame on me, whether i do this !!
