Yes. I will write about it soon -- still processing it.
The two hours we spent at the service was both beautiful and overwhelming. My Aunt kathy asked the pastor to hold a celebration of Easter, of the Resurrection -- and so we did. Many of the BSA scouts whose lives he impacted came up to speak about him. It was truly the most uplifting funeral service I've ever attended.
On the other hand, I was reminded greatly of my mother's loss. This was my father's last sibling, and it was like losing a final connection to him and to Mother. And there was the usual weird family stuff (*grin).
Thank you for asking, Dagonee. I thought of Hatrack often.
