Yeah, it's a little hard to post about a book you've never read!
So if you were saying the movies are better then the comics guess I just like it better when they stick to story. Nit pick I guess. Which is one reason they'll have a rough time with Ender's Game. Even though I'm looking forward to it!

Well, I can't imagine a book possibly being as bad as the movie was (John Travolta as a tall balding alien with dreadlocks was a dive into the pit of horrible that I don't want to go into here). And while I'm grateful for what L. Ron Hubbard did for science fiction writing (Writers of the Future is about all it sums up to), I don't know if I'm willing to spend what reading time I have on his work just yet

Schindler's List as a movie was better than the book, which came off to me as a very dry list of goings-on...

If the novel of Battlefield Earth had ended where the movie did, I would have considered it a decent (not great, but decent) book. I had to really fight hard to finish it once the book got to that point. Oh, and I read the book first, don't even ask why I tortured myself further with the movie. LOL
