I really loved Blue Sky's 2002 film 'Ice Age'.

So one of my most anticpated films of 2005 is 'Robots'. Previously all the Robots website had was the release date and a link to the teaser. Now it has a story synopsis, a prologue that seems to be a series of clips from the film, and the promise of more content soon.

Looks pretty good. [Smile]

That's a mighty fine webpage.

Sigh. I shall never be good.

Annie, you could be that good if you had a dozen people working with you, a budget in the thousands, and years to create the clips.

No worries.

Tens of thousands, easily.

Plus it's easier to evoke the "WOW!" response in an all Flash site. Mind you, I think it's impressive and Flash is certainly suitable for a movie site. But only a fraction of all web sites could succeed with such a site.

Blue Sky has some of the most advanced animation tech in the world, plus 20th Century Fox for financial backing!
Comparing a single person's work to their's is a bit _too_ unequal a standard. [Smile]

I hate flash websites. Even in a movie site. They are so much harder to navigate and retreive information from, even if they look cool. The 'wow' response lasts about ten seconds, the frustration with load times and not being able to find my way anywhere, and the stupid games they try and make the entire site often lasts much longer, and I rarely return to the site.
