I didn't see any mention here of the recent airline price war, but for about a day or two last week, prices were slashed on a lot of routes.

So, Cor and I decided to take advantage of this and celebrate our anniversary in Las Vegas. [Cool] We're going to be in Vegas from Saturday, January 29th until Tuesday, February 1st (am).

Do any Hatrackers live out there?

That's funny Icky...mt parents just moved to AZ, not far from there, and we were suppose to go there and help them move that week.

Instead we are going to FL, and Jenni is auditioning for Voices of Liberty.

She needs to call and confirm her audition, so it might not be that week, she may have planned it for the week after....I'll let you know. At the very least we will be down there for about 5-6 days, so perhaps we can meet up for lunch or dinner, providing you aren't in Vegas.

[Frown]

We don't want to miss you guys!

Hopefully there will be some crossover days . . .

Too bad, we were thinking of renewing our vows out there if it's not too expensive, and could use some witnesses!

snuck in there, Strider.

We're hotel hopping to try to maximize our experience.

We're staying at the Luxor on Saturday, the Stratosphere on Sunday, and the Hilton on Monday.

(We got a great deal on the Stratosphere. I had seen a lower price on a website than their own, and I told them about it over the phone, and they honored the price I quoted them, no questions asked! $37.70! Not bad!)

Icarus, some friends of ours were married in Vegas, and they had it on a webcam. We could all be witnesses!

That is pretty great. I stayed at the Luxor once. Neat place. The elevators(or inclanators as they call them) are a pretty weird experience. I've pretty much been all over the main strip, but never actually made it out to Old Vegas. Always ran out of time. There's too much to do in that town.

If you have a chance I suggest going to the Rio. They have a bar(and possibly a restaraunt) on the 52nd floor of the hotel/casino that has a large outside deck. The Rio is a few blocks off the main strip, and if you go there at night you have an amazing arial view of the whole entire main strip. Dazzling lights and all. That's my most vivid and favorite memory of Vegas.
