I would like to know for my Pack Meeting. The theme is basically on communication, and I would like to teach them to sign the Cub Scout Law. I can find the other words (so far ), but I have had no luck yet with finding this one. Posts: 7050 | Registered: Feb 2004

Dang. Looks like I will need a sign for "Pack" also. I suppose I could sign "group" with a letter "P". But I don't know if that is the way it is usually done.

I'd write Katie, she's awesome. I bet she'd either know how to get it or know someone who knows. Posts: 21182 | Registered: Sep 2004

My friends and I have created our own sign language, but I don't think we have a way of saying "cub scout." Not that anyone else would know what you're saying... our language is derived mostly out of humor and inside jokes. We've got two separate ways of saying "spontaneous combustion." Good times.

I could find the sign for "Girl Scout", it was simply "Girl" followed by the Girl Scout salute. (I was one myself once upon a time.)
There is a site that supposedly connects with a place that shows each of these words, but it is under construction ATM.
The sign for "Boy Scout" is probably as simple as "Girl Scout" since I think the salute is the same (three fingers). But the Cub Scout salute is only 2 fingers, and I have no clue what "cub" is.
Maybe if I could get just "cub" (I couldn't find it in my search) I could throw "Cub Scout" together.
