Could you do me a favor and tell Int3 to email me back one way or the other? If playing isn't going to work out for him I'll need to recruit somebody else.

It's freelance stuff, not a steady gig. But it might lead to one, plus he's got an interview in San Diego next week. *crosses fingers* (Um, preferably that the one in town leads to a steady gig.)
Anyway, he said he started to write you this morning, but didn't have time. Will do so tonight.

It's an exciting but uncertain situation for me at the moment. The job in CA is a tremendous professional opportunity, but there are a great many unknowns. The job here is not assured (they have stated intent, but can't promise anything), but it is working with people whom I know and respect.
Of course, it's all a house of cards (no offense to the Cards). I still could end up managing a Kinko's before this is all through.

Producer, actually. I've done design, but the CA position is not design at all.
I think I'll remain circumspect about the company, though it's not EQ. I don't want to jinx it.
What I'm doing freelance at the moment is writing. I have written mission briefings, a few manuals, marketing materials, video tutorials, etc.
