Okay, i've been downloaded Naruto episodes now, I have 1-48 now and man it is one of the best anime's ever. MUCH better then DBZ, in Naruto you actually have some kind of strategy going on in the ninja battles. In DBZ it was just blow your enemy up. Who else agrees?

I've seen all the episodes and read all the manga, so it does have some weird charm that makes me continue to follow it. I do understand the Dragon Ball comparisons, but I'll admit Naruto is better than that. But I don't think that compared to other anime it's really all that good.

Well, if you're even comparing it to DBZ, you lost me. Now, if you tell me it's not the exact same episode each and every time, you might get me interested.

I'm a huge Naruto fan...but only of the manga. I could live without the anime. But...it's much, much, much better than DBZ, and while it doesn't carry some of the weight or resonance of say...Evangelion, or Cowboy Bebop, the story is often compelling, even moving, especially in later volumes. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting an action/adventure manga, especially if you want some deeper twists.

DBZ would be better if there was a cliff notes version. Take each episode and pull out the important stuff. Now each episode is 2 minutes long, and you can watch the whole series in an hour.

Indeed each episode of naruto is different and I enjoy the martial arts in it very much because you can actually follow it in DBZ it was either an explosion or a poor excuse for hand to hand. Naruto, you can follw whats happening and I must say each episode surprises me in different ways each time. Poor Hinata... (I'm at the Chuunin exam, I have up to over 50 episodes on my hard drive), now how many dvd's do I need... 4 per dvd so 40/4 is ten so 10 dvds then add the others so est. 13-15 dvds... this is going to be expensive very fast... BTW, the creator of Naruto got his inspiration from DBZ, good thing he improved on it.

Heh, I have a game I play with DBZ. Here's how it goes. You pick a scene while DBZ is on, just flip to the channel it's on and wait a minute. Then you switch back and forth between channels to see how many times you can change the channel and go back to DBZ without DBZ changing (As in, you start with the guy standing staring off into space and breathing heavily. You stop switching channels when the scene is no longer him breathing). My record is 13 channel changes without a scene change

I should tie all you knuckleheads down and make you watch 'Duck Dodgers in the 21st and a half century', just to remind you what real cartoons look like.
