Does anyone here know of any good Blues or Jazz instruction books for the Piano? I'm just getting started with Piano, but most of the stuff I've been playing for class is just...Boring me.

All I can say is get a (private) teacher, and NOT a family member. My mom tried to teach all of us kids piano, she just couldn't be as mean as she needed to be with us to get us to learn.

It would do you good to pick up the habit of always listening to Classical / Jazz while in the car. Grow the taste of classical, (You'll soon notice that some of the best Jazz stuff is based on classical pieces.)
