I have been trying to get to the PO for over a week. Now it seems that contrary to past experience (like, last month), I cannot now do school, chores, and run an errand on the same day.

So today I had no lessons planned, because we were going to MOPS, but the homeschool class teacher was sick. I decide we can finally get to the PO.

It takes us 1 hour and 45 minutes to get ready. Mostly due to Matthew refusing to do anything at all I ask him.

He pours himself a second bowl of cereal, pours milk on it, takes three bites and says he is full. Half an hour later, when I have composted the yucky mess, he blames me for "starving" him.

Andrew fights getting dressed, fights getting in the stroller, etc.

Olivia is very helpful, and is quite sure to let her brothers know it.

Finally go to PO, but the older two vaccilate between holding onto the stroller and dragging so I have to push twice as hard, or running off where I can't see them.

Buy gardenburgers and bagels on the way home. Come home, nuke burgers, send kids out side.

Get on computer. Get call on cel phone. Site director of day care that uses our nursery during the week. My staff are using her toys (um, when she writes her initials on toys I bought, that makes them hers?), mys staff is using "off limits" rooms, at which point I say, "No one ever told me any room was off limits, and to be be honest I have an issue with that, so maybe you and your supervisor and I need to get together for a talk". Hope I managed to be polite.

Then Andrew, who is potty training, comes to the door. "I'm poopy". OK, to be expected, but he has pulled his pants down to his ankles!!! Carefully carry him to chaning table, clean off poop. Matthew comes in. "I can't find my pants so I'm getting new ones". Can't find his pants????. Finds pants.

My response? To eat all the frosting on Olivia's birthday cake.

(((hugs))) I'm sorry. My daughter is being extremely clingy, contrarian, and fussy today, for no discernable reason (except that she bumped her head, but she does that every day), and it's frustrating me a little, but I only have one...

And there she goes. She just burst into tears for no reason.

I hope your day gets better. [Frown]

No, I haven't. I work three evenings a week (not sure when it's on) so I don't really get to watch TV.

And this is why I admire SAHPs. Three kids are a lot to handle when they're in school most of the day. When you and they are home all day together . . . well, a little icing-eating seems more than warranted. [Wink]
