I'm getting very very tired of all the banners and popups that come with free webspace hosting.

I'm starting to look for something better. Not necessarily bigger, but better. But I don't know where to even start looking.

I'm looking to keep costs low-ish, and I don't need a huge whack of space - I can't see needing more than 20 or 30 MB at all. And even that sounds huge.

Anyone got any advice?

I use 50megs.com

Just a satisfied customer, not a stakeholder.

I wouldn't know because I pay for web hosting. I figure you get what you pay for, and I'm not going to hassle with "free" sites.

I'm looking for a paid host now, FG. Enough of this annoyance.

I've been using a free trial from 1and1 and its been good so far. The free trial is for 6 months and you get 1 free domain name. Its for their Business Pro Package.

Web Space - 2,000 MB
Monthly Transfer Volume - 50 GB
Email Accounts - 500 (1 Gig each)

The offer is here .

Its for 6 months so nothing to lose. There are no banner ads or pop ups. Lots of extra features.

Few days ago I bought a pack of Hot Rods. They came in a pack of 5 sticks. The nutrition information on the back of the package were for 6 servings(or stick). Whats up with that? Why are they making the customer do a little calculation to figure out the nutrition content of the 5 sticks they eat, not 6. All the consumer wants is to relax and eat his/her Hot Rods. Wouldn't it be more logical to put the nutrition information for 5 sticks or less since the fat content and calories would be less, and hopefully help make that customer decide to buy this product? The packaging supervisor must of found it funny to put the information for 6 sticks instead of 5.

They were really good though, I will get some more when I get the chance.

I just signed up. So far so good. It really seems to be free. With a free domian name to boot. I was already looking to own my own domain. This offer was the clincher [Wink]
