Sasha brought home an old kids song that went....
Five little monkeys sitting on the bed One fell off and bumped his head Momma called the doctor and the doctor said, "No more Monkeys jumping on the bed."
The song repeats, now with four monkeys, then three, etc. counting down the five monkeys until they are all suffering head trauma and the lesson is driven home--DON'T JUMP ON THE BED.
While this is a cut and addictive little song, it isn't very modern. I've changed it a bit.

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed One fell off and bonked his head The Insurance man called and he then said "You policy exempts all bumps on the head."
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed One fell off and crushed his head The senator called and politely said "This benifits cut. We are in the red."
Two little monkeys jumping on the bed One fell off and slammed his head Pappa called the lawyer, and the lawyer said "After he dies, we'll sue the maker of the bed."
One little monkey jumping on the bed He fell off and bruised his head The media arrived and together said, "Abusive parents let them jump on the bed!"
Five little monkeys, all of them dead. Each died from their fall off the bed. Who is to blame? I respond with dread. "Anyone but me!!!" is all I've said.

My daughter fell off our bed and hit her gum the other day. She was just too fast for Abba. Anyway, we were really worried that her tooth was damaged (there was blood, and she wouldn't let us look at or touch the tooth). But the next day, when the tooth wasn't discolored, and she seemed better, I tentatively gave her a cookie. She chomped right down without any hesitation or apparent pain, and I knew she was fine.
The moral: we do our best, kids get hurt anyway, they're usually more resilient than you would think. Be careful, but not overcareful, and hopefully it will work out.
