No not food [Razz] I got Shadow of the Giant yesterday and I'm almost half way done. I am trying to go slowly and make it last but its hard. [Big Grin]

I'm waiting for my mom to come home from work because she promised she would pick it up from Borders today. I'm hoping to read it all tonight because I have a lot of homework this weekend.

Gobble it all down. There are MANY times many more good books out there. You cannot possibly read them all in one lifetime, and you will forget the details after a while and be able to read the book again with fresh eyes.

I thought this thread was going to be about After Eight Mints.

I biked through the rain to by this book last week at 10:00 at night, and refused sleep until I finished. Gooble gooble!

I actually didn't finish it all last night. At some point I conked out -- so I didn't finish until this morning. (What can I say. I'm just not as young as I once was. [Wink] )

But gobble versus savor? You have a CHOICE?!

I wanted to gobble it down, but part of me didn't want to keep reading because I was worried about what would happen in the end. I was able to make it last four days.

I stayed up way too late to finish mine last night. I was rather annoyed because I've had the book since last Monday and it took me THIS LONG to read it because I've been so busy. I had to savor it slowly and I must say that I like gobbling better.

Luckily books needn't be regurgitated before eating again, so I gobble the first time, then savor on later readings.
