That's the closest one to me, but I'm trying to find someone to road trip with. I thought my sister would go, but she seems to be busy that day. My roommate will be on a cruise. My dad only read Ender's Game and didn't like it. (Shocking, I know.) I'm sure I can find someone to drag along though.

That is cool, I really liked meeting him, and I hope you all have as much fun as I did doing so.

I am stuck working, or I would be there. I am actually quite depressed about it and would love meeting fellow Jatraqueros as well as El Mano! But if any of you are driving between Erie and Pittsburgh near a small town called Franklin (just 17 miles off of Interstate 80!), please stop in and say "Hi!".

And hey, why not? It's a good meal, often overlooked in light of the whole "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" thing.

I'm at school in Youngstown, but March 13 falls in spring break, so I'll be driving from home in Lodi.

Lunch is great. Big dinners are better! I run cause I like to eat or else I’d weigh 700 lbs.
prolixshore – Sounds like a plan! According to the map, it looks like there are number of restaurants nearby. Nadine's Restaurant looks like it’s practically across the street and the Hot Metal Grille is just down the street. I’ve heard some good things about the Hot Metal Grille. Not sure if you had anything specific in mind. I’ll email soon too! Just wanted to get this in here so more can jump on the ban wagon!

Cool. I’m thinking it might be cool to meet at the Hot Metal Grill http://www.hotmetalgrille.com/ at noon (that's when they open) for a meeting time. Give us time to eat, chat, and get over to the signing which is right down the street. So….. been trading emails with prolixshore and it sounds like he’s in. So HesterGrey how about you? Interested? The more the merrier! Any thoughts of place and time? This work? Anyone else?

I wish I could be there. Pittsburgh is the closest stop to me. Unfortunately, that's still four hours of driving in a car I don't have.

We will be there tomorrow at noon for lunch. Hopefully you are still coming. We will be waiting for you. Anyone else who is coming to the signing, I will see you soon. WOOHOO!

ApostleRadio, I'm not sure I'm going to make it. I went to NYC for the Big East Championship game and as I'm getting home my car is making this strange loud noise. I think it's something in the steering and it seems to be getting worse. I really can’t believe this. It’s just my luck. Hope you get this before heading out, I apologize greatly.

Sorry you couldn't make it Jay. We waited for you for a little bit, then went ahead and ate. No big deal. The food was good.
We had a great time at the signing. Pictures taken, books signed, the whole shebang.
Mr. and Mrs. Card were great. Funny, charming, and nice. Even if Uncle Orson did call me insane for travelling to Pitt from South Carolina for spring break.
All in all a great time was had. I hope to do it again some time.

Prolixshore - And I thought I would get the prize for traveling the farthest! I drove 138 miles to get to Pittsburgh. Kudos to you!
