Ever wonder about a part in a movie that you were hoping they actually explained more on?
How about we play a game where we ask a question about a movie and we vote on which answer (could be made up) is the best or whoever can prove the answer with a link automatically wins.(Even if it isn't an official link). Please keep this post at G-PG13.
First Question:
Why does Dr. A. Heller have a rented chicken in "Mystery Men"?

This site would lead us to believe that he rents chickens to other people.
quote: Dr. A. Heller's card lists aromatherapy, laser hair removal, chicken rentals, and carnival rides as well as announcing his status as a "weapons designer, inventor, innovator, world changer."

Oh, wait, I ask a question? I didn't know I'd answered your question thoroughly enough. But here's a question anyway:
In The Incredibles, near the beginning, Helen is giving baby Jack-Jack a bath in the sink. She tells Bob on the phone that she has to go pick up the kids from school. When we see her next, she walks into the principal's office to talk about Dash's disruptive behavior. Jack-Jack isn't with her. Then, she's driving the station wagon with Dash in the passenger seat and Jack-Jack in the back. So my question is, where was Jack-Jack when she went in to talk to the principal? Surely she didn't leave him in the car!

LOL I totally was wondering the same thing. Of course back then it probably wasn't against the law to leave your baby in the car but it still is iresponsible. I wonder if the animators totally overlooked it.

Plus, Helen is a very responsible parent. She was really upset when the two older kids stowed away on the plane and thought they left the baby alone.
My sister said that she left Jack-Jack with the secretary. This is possible. Maybe she walked in with the baby, got to chatting with the secretary, said she had to go in to talk to the principal, and the secretary offered to look after Jack-Jack while Helen was in the office.
Why is no one else participating in this super fun discussion? Doesn't anyone else wonder about these kinds of things?

I wondered about that too. The only thing I could come up with was she left the baby with the secretary. That's my vote.

I vote on the secretary answer too. Yeah how come no one is participating in this topic? I think they see that I'm the starter and say "oh no not her! I'm not going to bother clicking on this topic!"

In Finding Nemo, the sharks that were no longer eating fish - did anyone else wonder just what exactly they were eating? I mean, did they take up munching on kelp?

I pretty much assumed that there was a starbucks under the sea, and that they lived off of coffee and pound cake, and the occassional salad.

Sticking with the cartoon theme, how did Timon, Pumbaa, and Nala catch up with Simba so quickly? I'm refering to point in the movie where Simba returns to claim his birthright; he sets out in the night, and runs all day, and the others leave the next morning...
Is Simba just a bad marathoner?
edit: birthRIGHT, not birthrate...although I do suppose having Simba back would push up the birthrate a bit.

Simba didn't have a chick with him and got lost. Where he would normally have given into a "stop and ask for directions" nag from Nala, he just continued on his path, losing very valuable time.

That's brilliant! It is a fact that he had been away so long that he didn't remember how to get back AND I'm sure he was too occupied to notice where he was going when he was a cub.
As for the sharks I think they were vegetarians and eat kelp... and maybe food humans throw overboard.

In the credits for When Harry Met Sally, there is an anomaly. Although Helen and Ira are on screen for the exact same amount of time (at the exact same time), they are not listed consecutively. It's Helen, Waiter at Wedding, and THEN Ira. What is with this? I don't get it! Why in God's name would Waiter at Wedding be listed between Helen and Ira?

I just think they messed up on that.. but that's just me. This has nothing to do with the plot of the movie. Oh well..
