Greenville is awesome, you'll like it. I hope you don't like baseball though, the G-Braves just moved to another state and we haven't gotten another good team yet. I wouldn't know about the schools, since I am homeschooled. Greenville is pretty nice, and there's plenty of stuff to do. There's the Peace Center, a couple of malls, Frankies Fun park and similar places, the Bil-Lo Center, and other random fun places.

Greenville is 45 minutes from my hometown. Nice place. Lots of stuff to do.
Looking at bestplaces.net...
Cost of living is just below the national average. Per Capita Income is average, but per household average is 10000 a year lower than average. Unemployment is 2.6% (1.3% lower than average), Recent job growth is high, future job growth is average. Median Home Cost is $110,000. It's a fairly industrial area. Air and water quality are lower than average.
Crime rate is 3 times the nation's average. Property Crime is almost twice the nations average.
Education is average, but achievement in the area is slightly above the nation's average. Average comute time is 15.1 minutes.
Hope that answers all your questions.

I am taking a telecom engineering job with Nuvox Communications (use my company, ensure me a successful move to SC!)
Eruve, the kids are currently homeschooled and flourishing, but as I am divorcing and single parenting them, I'm afraid it's just not going to be an option, as much as I'd like to carry it on.
