So, are you from France, Quebec, some other French speaking country, or did you learn it in school, or what?

[aside] Dag always says what I want to say first. Actually, he articulates what I was vaguely thinking in the back of my head, and I'm usually grateful that he ended up saying it first. [/aside]
That said! Welcome! If rivka loves you, I love you! I hope you stick around.

No one ever welcomed me here. Am I not thoughtful or articulate? Or are you all just prejudiced against me because I don't speak French?

My mother was born in France. Appearantly I was conceived in France. I did a lot of travelling through Europe both in and out of utero until my family settled in Canada when I was four. Canada is my home however I do not live in Quebec and in fact have a really difficult time with their accent.

Is that nickname Russian? It reminds me of Russian.
I am an undead hatracker by inclination too... but am mostly up with the non-undead now because my kids refuse to be night owls like me.
Miriya has the hallmarks of a russian pet name which appeals to me. I love russian names. It's origin however is from Japanese anime. Miriya became my alter ego in the eighties and just stuck.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I plan to stick around. I went looking for Hatrack about a decade ago when OSC refered to it in a prologue somewhere. Sadly at the time it was an AOL thing I couldn't get at. It took me a long time to go looking for it again but I'm glad I found it.
Oh and Bienvenue a Hatraque Verily!
