Well, I've been searching for this topic, but I haven't found it. Let me know if I just missed it, and I'll delete this one.

So, it's Monday. Have you reached your writing goals, or have you goofed off all week?? It's time to 'fess up, people! Let us know about your goal, your progress, and the title of your story or other written work.

My goal: to have my portfolio finished for the Thursday deadline.
My progress: I finished another draft of my story, with a lot of editing, revision, and additions. I still have another story to do the same for.
Title of my story: God Help the Sister.

I spent some time a few nights ago with pencil and paper, fleshing out my main character's motivation. I made some breakthroughs and now my story is more writeable. All I have to do is write it now. [Smile]

I did not meet last week's goal, but I did make progress on it.

For this week, I'm transferring the same old goal forward again. I think I need to lower my expectations of how much I can get done while school is still in session. I still have two finals to study for.

So everyone here writes?

I'll stick to just reading. [Big Grin]

Last week I completed the first step in the Snowflake process. So next week I hope to complete the second step.

I finished a chapter, and got abot 2,000 words down this week. That wasn't exactly what I had as a goal, but it's pretty good.

I'm thinking another 2,000 words this week, though I have got a paper to write.

Ni!

I had to leave my story alone completely this week owing to major exam revision meltdown, but since I did my exam this morning I have some free time (yay! [Big Grin] ).

So this week I'm planning to write chapter 5, which should be somewhere in the region of 4,000 words.
