Its raining in San Diego right now, and boy do I HATE it!. My mother had forgotten her umbrella, so I gave her mine, which I desperatley need right now. I just got soaked getting from one class to another. My entire front side is soaked and my shoes... I'm not even gonna say just how drenched they are...

Yeah, tell me about it. We've been planning today -- a trip to Legoland -- for weeks. We're still going, and at least it means the lines will be short.
But combined with my insomnia-induced exhaustion, it's making it hard to get up the energy to actually leave the hotel and head over there.

I live in L.A. But we'll likely make it down to Legoland again -- we got a year's membership a few months back.

It was supposed to rain here today, but the storm system passed too far to the north. I wanted it to rain.

It's raining here in Central California today, as well. There have been severe thunderstorm warnings off and on all day, and I've even heard thunder in the distance several times. Which means I've been off and on the computer, 'cause I don't want the thing to get fried. Very frustrating, as I was trying to finish work. Working at home is fun, though.

If you lived in Ohio, you'd have a spare umbrella, and a rain poncho in your backpack....a couple in each car, and extras at home. And a yellow slicker and galoshes and a hat. And waders.

It was supposed to rain here in Las Vegas today, but I don't think it rained where my office is. Maybe it did at my house, which seems to be located in the rainiest spot in the whole valley.
This has been an incredibly rainy stretch for Vegas. Our "winter" was record-setting for precipitation. As a result, this spring the wildflowers have been incredible, and the moth population has been through the roof. The newpaper had a picture of a mind-bogglingly huge swarm of moths gathered around the spotlight at the top of the Luxor. The world's biggest porchlight!

It ain't bad here in Boston. It washes away the pollen like Eruve Nandiriel said. and it's good weather to sleep in For me, i'm kinda glad that something else other than snow is falling from the sky. i don't really mind if it's pouring and i need to walk home, kinda enjoy it. but getting cold is a pain

I don't think anybody other than foreigners use umbrellas here very much...and we live in a rainforest

At noon, the rain started coming down hard again. At 12:30, it stopped. By 1:30, it was hot and sunny enough that I came home with a sunburn! I almost never burn.
And so much for clearing the air -- my allergies went from yesterday's mildly irritating to today's hayfever-like atomic sneezing.
Ryuko, that flash is great!

I like it. David McGuire, who made it, is pretty cool.
I wish it would just rain today. Yesterday was some effed up weather, though. First sleet, then snow, then sun, then more snow, then cloudyness but no snow or rain. Then more snow.

Actually, the kids had a great time. And I had a pretty good time too. (The rain wasn't the problem; the exhaustion and my allergies, which made me feel like I was underwater, were.)
But it was good day, despite the sunburn.
