This has been a list that has taken a while to compile. But I finally today got to 10. Yahoo! Tom and I never seem to agree on anything but, now, we have a top 10 list of things that we agree on. It is an amazing feat. So now Tom and I can have a toast to our in common things. So without further ado, on to the list.
Jay and Tom’s Top Ten list of thing they agree on.
10. Thought Steev’s post about OSC was offensive 9. The finger in the Wendy’s chili seemed suspicious early on 8. Lack of discipline from parents in child outburst case 7. Recommends TweakUI 6. Not too troubled by Wikipedia 5. Surprised by the prosecution in Michael Jackson Case 4. Computer careers 3. Chocolate 2. Anti-Abortion 1. Orson Scott Card

I slightly disagree with the title. It makes it seem like Jay and Tom have worked together to put this together. Shouldn't it be more like "Jay's Top Ten List of things Jay and Tom agree on"?
And there should be a Top Ten List of Practical Jokes that kat and Frisco play on each other.

While it's true I didn't help him compile this, I think it's pretty encyclopedic. Although I worry that he and I think Steev's post was offensive for different reasons.

Now now, we can’t get bogged down on little details or we would have never have gotten to 10. It was hard enough as is.

I have one kept in reserve, in case I need it. The last one was cancelled out because he told me about it before I sent out any e-mails with scandalous confessions in my signature.

Wow, kat, I never realized you had so many posts...were you the one Tom was talking about who had more posts between all your multiple screennames than he did on his one prolific SN?

I thought about coming up with a clever denial, but the truth is "Probably." I know - it doesn't seem like it. That many posts, you'd think I'd make more of the Most Favored Poster lists. I attribute my continued non-icon status to fluffy posts and somewhat prickly disposition.
Added: I'm much nicer in person. *produces a sheaf of depositions attesting to this*

Unless one of Katie's other alts has a lot more posts than I thought, Tom overestimated. Or was referring to someone else.

Nope, prickly helps. look how Tom's prickliness with Jay ended up with this thread.
And I think your practical jokes with Frisco, your attendance at the Cons, and your comments on sakeriver have all created a large enough persona for you to be considered a Most Favored Poster. I'd list all the people I think are on that list but I'd forget someone and they'd be mad and I'd feel guilty and who really needs that kind of stress, ya know?
Plus, you're friends with a lot of the MFPs. I'm sure some of their popularity has rubbed off on you.

Stanlie: 431 That's still not more than Tom, though. *cheers*

Thank you. I have to admit that this worries me a little. Am I really so stridently prickly online? The consensus seems to be "Yes." Oh dear. *resolves to be better* *not that she regrets the recent sakeriver event - he was totally asking for it*

who else could tom have been talking about? It's not CT is it? I forget how many posts she has, but there are like 8 sns.

Edit 2: So I'm trying to figure out what will happen if I post on another thread. I'm betting that if I post here it'll break but if I post to another thread this post won't be updated...

I think all of us who started out as wacky outraged conservatives and have mellowed over time should celebrate the day we started liking TomDavidson. It would be a fun holiday where we could eat pickled herring.
On second thought, I still don't like him enough to go quite so far as the pickled herring.

kat -- I wasn't making any comment as to how you come across online. I was just making a comment about how pleasant you are in person.

So who all would come to this celebration? There've got to be more than just you, Narnia, and me.

Seems a number of people don't care for pickled herring. Those who like it could eat it, and those who don't could throw some at TomDavidson. In his honor.
