This movie looks like it could be halfway good.

I actually attended a test screening of this movie a few months ago (we were actually the second audience in the world to have seen it, right after a screening they did for children before ours.) The movie, while it doesn't quite bring in a breath of fresh air when it comes to creative concepts, is actually pretty good. It was your typical light-hearted, feel-good Pixar movie, and I definitely recommend it once it comes out.

When Monsters Inc. was previewing, I thought... A monster movie, nah. I watched it and loved it. Then with Finding Nemo, I thought... A fish movie, nah. I watched it and loved it more. Cars, I was excited about from the beginning (I live on Route 66). When I saw the previews for Ratatouille, I thought... A rat movie, nahawaitaminute! I am a Pixar believer now.

I saw the trailer awhile back, and it looks like a fun movie. Pixar generally comes up with some pretty catchy storylines. I plan to see it this summer.

Personally, I think Monsters. Inc is my personal favorite of all of the Pixar films. I don't think it's as popular for some reason.

Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles are my favorite Pixar films.

I'm really looking forward to this. Rodents + Pixar = Awesome. Maybe it's because I stopped doubting Pixar after A Bug's Life (I resisted that one for a long time, then was forced to see it and actually enjoyed it).

Yeah, I can pretty much quote Finding Nemo all the way through.

Another reason to be interested is that this is a Brad Bird movie. He's the writer/director of The Iron Giant and The Incredibles, two fantastic movies. Checking his wiki, I see that he was also a "consultant" on the early years of The Simpsons, and as a really strange piece of trivia, voiced Edna (the constume designer) in The Incredibles. [Eek!]

Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles are my favorites. I love the world created in Monsters, Inc., complete with an explanation of why kids are scared of monsters (and why the monsters would want to scare kids).
