Hi we've just renewed our love of playing RISK and were wondering if anyone's modified the game themselves or knows of modifications that make it more interesting?

I know OSC did...anyone know those changes?

we were thinking of connecting it to Monopoly somehow but all the things that have been proposed make it easier to win both games if you're the one with more money...so it's not too fair...

We changed it so you can't keep marching through territories if you get on a roll. You have to stop once you conquer a territory. And then we gave unlimited troop movements WITHIN your controlled areas. You only have 1 turn per army to move it into an uncontrolled or enemy-controlled territory.

I'd like to do something with free movement through allied territories, but so far we haven't worked out the kinks.

A friend and I made some rpg rules for risk a while back, if i can get a copy of them from my friend I'll post them.
