I sing jingles from commercials constantly. When the commercial comes on, I sing along, and do the shaking finger thing. You know, where you point to the ceiling with both hands and move them back and forth.

I don't do this on purpose. It just... happens. Like... EVERY commercial with a jingle.

Most recently is that Mento's commercial with the birds. If you haven't seen this, you don't watch TV. I whistle along to it, I do the finger thingy, EVERY TIME.

CURSE YOU ADVERTISING! CURSE YOU!

This post brought to you by Mento's, The Fresh Maker.

The jingle that is the bane of my existence is the lime Coke one. It pops into my head randomly and yet as annoying as it is, I strangely love it.

I need help.

*sings* You put the lime in the coke, you nut, drink 'em both together...

See, this is an easily solved problem, m'dears. Just do as I do and don't subscribe to cable, don't put up a dish, don't wiggle the bunny ears . . . TV is evil, I say, evil! Free yourselves from its domination and depradation. Be free, I say! Throw that TV away.

*phew - soap boxes are hard to preach from when one's lungs are still getting over pneumonia*

*Resumes soapbox*

Slay your television! The world will thank you.

*bows*

No, it really is, "You put the lime in the coke, you nut." because they are advertising Lime coke.
Revolting sounding.

I wish there was a hose to suck out all the useless things from my head. Like jingos, sitcom plots..
