Please tell me why you have to fill out this app 54 times?! I am currently filling one out for UNMC (University of Nebraska Medical Center). It's going on 2 weeks and it's still not done.

Now all I have to do is get 13 of 'em to sign the signature page, and and 34 to fill out, sign, and have their parents sign the dual-curriculum form.
Once the paperwork is mailed off, I will be very happy.

This is not concurrent enrollment, exactly. It's dual-curriculum, where the same class counts for both HS and college credit. The idea is that next year's seniors will graduate with 6 credits (early childhood, so they'll be qualified to work as a nursery aide); and the class following will get 6 next year and 6 the year after. With 12 credits they can be hired as a nursery teacher, I gather.

I had a friend who did that. And another friend who did it at Glendale CC.
I just took a couple of classes for fun because senior year I switched from a Glendale school to one running on LAUSD standards, and not very strictly adhering to those, as a "special" school... It was basically to keep me sane, or I might have done that.

I read somewhere that SMC sends more students to UCLA than any other community college in California.

*amused* Dunno about sainthood. But I am glad I won't have to see that form again for a long time.

When you're done with all 42 (I think) episodes, and want more . . . well, there's no Season 7, but quite a number of those authors are still actively writing. Pam, for instance. Posts: 32919 | Registered: Mar 2003
