Back to my UNIX identity (this way you know what OS I'm in).
I made up a word - equivalisation (no, "equivalization" is NOT acceptable even for you Americans; I make up the spellling, *wink*). It means "comparison", but I thought you need it on the base of "equivalent". The verb is (Present Simple) "to equivalise", (Past Simple) "equivalose", (Past Perfect) "equivalisen". This is based on rise, rose, risen (hey! I'm allowed to make up a strong verb to fit).
