It's so hard to keep up around here! I was away from the internet for four days, and now I feel like I've missed lots of things. Gosh, it was hard enough when I was on the internet every day. Hatrack is just too fun.

I've missed news of how Mrs. M is doing. I was thinking of her over the week or so before Mother's Day. So how is she?

Um. Have you ever tried to walk triplets in the park? I have. I assure you, it's easier before they can walk! At least until they're old enough to control themselves.
Two is not a good age for it.

I was the regular babysitter of a set of triplets from the time I was 15 until I was 18.
When I was 15, I was asked to stay with them, with only the neighbor for backup, when they were three months old. For a weekend. The week before finals.
I did it-- because they paid me $50 an hour, $70 an hour for nighttime hours, and because it was an emergency, and their family was out of the country.
That's when I decided I never want multiples. I'll love them if they come, but I certainly won't hope for them!

And yes. Do you really think I would have agreed if they were not paying enough that I didn't need a job for the rest of HS? (I did take other jobs, of course. But part of that money sat in the bank long enough to pay for part of my wedding.)
