In the near future you will see photographs of Saddamn Hussien in jail, in his underwear.

Tonight, I saw a republican sith spin master earning his paycheck.

FIRST - he infered that he believed an iraqi leaked it to the media. (I don't think they are allowing too many iraqi's near saddamn with cameras)

SECOND - He noted that this is good. This is what we do in war, we strike them in their pride.

An Army General was on at the same time and spoke of how he believes Saddamn should be tried and executed, but until that day he needs to be treated with the utmost respect all human beings should get.

I agree 100% with the general, and couldn't disagree more with the spim-master.

You want to show picutres of Saddamn living like a rat in a whole when we captured him?

Cool.

Float those photoes all around the world.

To have the man in captivity and then take photoes of him to make him look like a fool, is foolish at best, dangerous race baiting at worst.

I believe if Saddamn is proving guilty for all the crimes against him, the genocide, he should be put to death. Live by the Sword, Die By the Sword.

...but for the current regime to pull a stunt like this is disgusting.

I am someone who is FOR prisoners rights.

If they are in prison, they are in prison because they have been found guilty of a serious crime against humanity and are a danger to society.

But.

They are still human.

It was America's job to decide they are criminals, and take away their freedom, it is God's job, and ONLY God's job to pass final judgement. Until that day they are to be treated as humans.

For us to be honorable and glorius, we must be above our enemies at all times. We cannot use the weapons and tactics of those we consider evil.

We must be as good as we can be.

Totally
We must act with honour. It's not enough to say we are the good guys...
Totally agree.

Actually, I might tend to believe the first assertion. Saddam is in the Iraqis' legal custody, but our physical custody. This strongly suggests that Iraqis have access to him. And they have big time motive to humiliate him.

I agree that saying the release of this photo is good is a very bad thing.

Exactly. When we forget there are ideals above simple victory and destroying our opponents, we destroy ourselves.

Also, of course, the whole thing is likely to explode in our faces if we overdo it.
