I like him better with his natural hair color, but if I were going to be in London, I wouldn't pass on the play. I've heard he's quite good in the part, what with the dancing and his somewhat boisterous singing voice.
Not a huge fan of that particular play, though. Not sure why. I'm certain it's more family-friendly than, say, Little Malcolm, since Sky Masterson keeps his pants on.

I had a Ewan dream the other night! I was at a local, very nice Japanese restaurant and sushi place with a large group of people and Ewan was one of them. I was wearing my satin oriental outfit and my hair was up with chopsticks... Anyway, for some strange reason I had my Tarot cards with me.
(I don't really read tarot, but I bought some cards because I thought I'd like to design my own deck someday - the art on some decks is amazing. )
Anyway, people asked me to do a reading and everyone insisted I do one for Ewan. So I told him to cut the deck, which I held out on my palm (which is weird). I told him to be sure he only touched the cards, not my hand (which is weirder). As the cards laid out, it only made sense as a reading for a woman. I couldn't make it work any other way. It seemed to be talking of a miscarriage and loss and eventual healing and recovery.
Finally, I got upset and said, "These are NOT your cards" but they wouldn't let me stop the reading, so I finished it. It was very silly to tell a man he'd had a miscarriage. O_O
I've never dreamed of kissing him or anything, and I really don't want to. So that's good.
I have to disagree on that one. With a beard ans his white jedi clothes with the boots and everything... Yummy !

Stay out of the thread if it bothers you, Mr. Potato Head, or I'll open your accessory door in front of all the ladies.
I'm with Anna - I like the natural-colored, neatly-trimmed beard. The dead beaver he was sporting at the end of that motorbike trip around the globe, however... *shudder* It flapped in the wind!

I did NOT like the beard in the movie. AJ, don't turn all dark-side on me! He looks MUCH better without it!!

He needs to be in more movies like Moulan Rouge. He made me drown in a puddle of my own drool in that movie.

well the hair is goofy there, that weird 40s combover thing and it is a goofy stage look deliberately. I guess I kinda like the cleft in his chin. I like Olivet's "Good Beard" picture, but it is shorter in that picture than in RotS.
I think it was trimmed a little more around the edges in RotS - not so much hair on his cheeks and neck, but longer to make his face look more like Alec Guiness'.

I like him better with the samller beard (Like in your "good beard" pic, or AotC), but he's still very yummy with the RotS beard.

I'm wondering if the AotC versus the RotS looks were designed also to give him the appearance of age. I mean yeah he aged a bit between the two movies but the RotS beard is definitely the smoother more "elder statesman" look, rather than the young almost-renegade Jedi. I far prefer the AotC look, with the slightly scruffy thing going on.

*ponders* ya' know, it may not so much actually be the beard as it is the longer or shorter mustache and how they have it trimmed to run into the beard...

Agreed. I think they were trying to make his face look longer and thinner for the Old Ben look in RotS. I think it was longer in the chin area, but still more trimmed on the neck and cheeks.
