Ron's dress robes are a total hoot. Too bad no Cedric or Victor shots. What's up with the Anakin hair on Harry, though?

It's the new style? Long hair is back?

Maybe it's a British thing.

Long hair is back as part of skater culture (or as my duaghter tells me SK8R culture).

The preppy look is back as well.

Kind of a odd mix of 70's and 80's.

I really don't like the person they chose for Fleur, she doesn't seem to fit at all.

I agree with you, Lypus. I pictured her as some sort of nymph goddess, a beauty that captured men with a glance. I don't see that in this picture.

Judas Tap Dancing Priest -- Does Rupert Grint only have that one ugly "horrified" look or what¿? It's even more annoying than Elijah Woods bug-eyed look through all of LOTR.

I like the long hair. And wouldn't you look horrified if you had to go out in dress robes like that? Where Draco Malfoy would see you?

Same as the first three books-- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Also, I just need to express once more my frustration that the costumes are so different from what's described in the books.

I hate that. It totally gets on my nerves.

My husband and sons all have hair longer than Daniel Radcliffe's. Hubby's is even longer than Rupert Grint's. I love long hair on guys.

I kind of dig the teaser poster.

Well, Cho is just as pretty as she ought to be. Fleur isn't at all what I pictured, though, and Harry and Ron look perpetually dazed/baffled with those mops on their heads. I just always picture them as relatively clean-cut people, even with Ron's family finances [Dont Know] .

Ok, I love Harry Potter because JK Rowling gives us hints about what's to come.

OK, Rowling said the half Blood prince isn't Harry or Voldermort. And there is a clue to who he is in C.o.S. when Harry goes in the chamber.

The only thing down there is Harry, Tom Riddle, Ginny, the Basilisk, a bunch of columns and a giant statue:

quote:
Harry had to crane his neck to look up into the giant face above: It was ancient and monkeyish, with long, thin beard that fell almost to the bottom of the wizard's robe

So what does this mean? Is the statue of Slytherin. If so does that make him the HBP?

Are there any other nerds out there who have thoughts on the matter?

Longish floppy hair is most definately back among the younger (10-late teensish) crowd.

Hahahahaha...

The Harry Potter Lexicon Forum, if you haven't been there already has every speculation ever thought of.
