Egads, I have been hit and miss over the past few months. I guess I should've kept the apartment. Any way, I am on leave for a few days so I can spend time with Gwen and am lucky enough to have found a hotel with Hi-Speed access [Smile] .

--To let y'all know, as of 1045 Thursday, June 30th 2005, I have reenlisted for another 4 years. Bringing my contract to a total of 12 years. 'Course I get a decent bonus with that too.

--I have faxed all the paperwork I needed to my Detailer so I can get the heck out of CA and in NY. This way it will be much easier to attend my sister's wedding this December.

--I have been tipped on a good buy. I will be getting a 1962 Ford Stepside p/u in about a year. The guy who has it now is a good friend of mine, and is waiting till he gets his 1953 chevy fixed before selling the Ford. All it needs is a newer paint job.

--I banged up my Dodge truck the other week. The new fender is at my parent's house.

--At least I have been in and out of here enough that I have seen the comings and goings of people. Unlike my family. I just learned that my cousin Justin (The one and only time I saw him was when he turned 1 y.o.) has turned 6 y.o as of the other weekend. My youngest sister has a driver's license. My cousin Sara is getting one. The neighbor's kid has graduated High School. Their youngest is going into. I now have a cousin I have never met, and even when I do see her, she will be too young to even remember me.

--So yeah, it's a big deal that I get NY. After all, it is only about 10 hours away from home.

-Catch y'all on the flip side.

Heh, thing is, I liked being out to sea. The closest I got to Iraq was the North Arabian Sea. Hazardous duty pay and tax free pay sure add up. Though, I am looking at buying a house when I get to NY. They are a lot cheaper than CA. I figure I'll just rent it out via a property manager when I transfer from there.
